Who is behind ShellTeam
ShellTeam is built by Seb Derhy, who runs his own coding agents on it every day. It started as the setup he wanted for himself: Claude Code and Codex on a computer of their own, reachable from his phone, with everything they build at a real address. Most of ShellTeam was built through ShellTeam.
It is open source under the AGPL-3.0 license, and the self-hosted edition is the same product as the managed one. The code is public at github.com/sebderhy/shellteam, and the way it handles security is written down in SECURITY.md.
The company
ShellTeam is a product of Ormind (ormind.ai), operated and sold by Rene Derhy Import Export. That company is the contracting party for managed computers and the merchant of record for every payment. Checkout shows it as Ormind Ltd, and card statements read SHELLTEAM.
