Terms of service

These terms cover the managed ShellTeam computers sold at shellteam.sh and the use of this website. The self-hosted edition is free software under the AGPL-3.0 license; that license, not these terms, governs it. The 30-minute live demo has its own short terms of use.

1. Who you are dealing with

ShellTeam is operated and sold by Rene Derhy Import Export ("we", "us"), the company behind Ormind. We are the contracting party for every managed computer and the merchant of record for every payment. Checkout shows us as Ormind Ltd; card statements read SHELLTEAM. Contact: contact@ormind.ai.

2. What you buy

A managed computer is a dedicated cloud server with ShellTeam installed and kept up to date, reachable at the name.shellteam.sh address you picked, with HTTPS and hosted voice input. You get full administrator access to it.

The AI is not included. Your agents run on your own Claude, ChatGPT or other AI plan or API key, under that provider's terms. We do not resell AI and add no markup to it; what your provider bills you is between you and them.

3. Price, billing and cancelling

• $19 per month or $190 per year, billed in advance through Stripe, renewing automatically until you cancel.
• The founding price stays locked for as long as your subscription stays active.
• Cancel any time by emailing contact@ormind.ai. Your computer keeps running until the end of the period you paid for. After that we delete it and everything on it within 30 days, so copy anything you want to keep.
• If we cannot set your computer up, we refund you in full.
• We may change prices with 30 days' notice; a change never applies to a period you have already paid.

4. Your computer, your responsibility

Your agents have full control of your computer. That is what makes them useful, and it means you are responsible for what runs on it, including what your agents do on your instructions. Keep your login token private, and read the security model.

You will not use it to:

• attack, scan, flood or break into other systems;
• send spam or unsolicited messages;
• mine cryptocurrency;
• host or distribute unlawful content, malware, or material that infringes someone else's rights;
• break the terms of the AI providers or other services you connect.

If a computer is used this way, or our hosting provider requires it, we may suspend it, and in serious cases end the subscription without refund. Where we can, we will tell you first.

5. Your content

What you and your agents create is yours. We do not claim any right to it and do not look at it. Anything you choose to publish from your computer is your responsibility.

6. Availability

We work to keep your computer running and updated, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Your server can go down for maintenance or because of our hosting provider. Keep backups of anything that matters.

7. Warranty and liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. AI agents make mistakes: review what they produce before you rely on it.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE IT.

8. Changes and law

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we update this page and email you before the change applies to you. These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Rene Derhy Import Export is established, and its competent courts decide any dispute.
